It was so compelling, and beautiful. Being right over the water, you can feel the sea spray from the lanai, and as the water crashes against the shoreline, you can feel the thunderous bass sound reverberate through you like the soothing sensation of a mother's beating heart to her infant. We can't really adequately describe what the ocean feels like as it crashes just beneath you, or convey the thrill of the firework-like explosions of the water crashing in, spraying up over the horizon, then falling rhythmically back to whence it came, only to be replaced by another wave.
But we can show you on our web cam. Perhaps, this weak synthesis of the imagery of LuxuryPoipu will give you something of which to dream. Perhaps one day you can come to LuxuryPoipu and experience it with yourself and a loved one.
This camera is definately within the alpha test stage of development. Once you load it, click to "view" then wait a few seconds. If no image, or only a partial image comes up, please click on your web browsers "reload" function a second time, and you should get it. While we are testing and setting up the WebCam, who knows what you will see. But we are getting it there, and running as quickly as possible. Depending on your security settings, you may have to reduce the security on the function which allows activex controls. If this sounds too complicated, then you may simply wish to download the streaming video file above, under the movie icon, and see a recorded scene.
It will probably take about a minute between clicking the link, authenticating, and then delivering the live 30 frame per second video. But compared to the 6 hour flight from the mainland, well, it might suffice for the moment, until you can get on over here.
